If you're looking after an elderly loved one who is living with dementia is can be very tiring, especially if you have to care for them all day every day. And when you're fully engrossed in caring it's easy to forget that the situation is not ideal for your loved one either.
Our specialist day care service gives you the chance to take a much needed break but it's also great for your loved one.
They get to meet others who are in the same position as they are and to make new friendships with both our staff and other full time residents and day care visitors.

Because Gresham Lodge is a specialist dementia care home our experienced and well trained staff are experts in understanding the needs and unique world perspectives of those who are living with Alzheimer's or Dementia in all it's forms.
We have a full range of activities specially designed to be engaging and fun for those with dementia and our facilities are dementia friendly too so that your loved one will feel calm and happy as soon as they arrive.
More Affordable Than You'd Think
Sessions are available from just £45 per day depending on needs.
The standard day is from 10am to 4pm and includes lunch with our community of full time resident and day care visitors and all the activities we lay on. However, we want to help you as much as possible with your exact needs so earlier or later times can be arranged as can bathing, hairdressing, trips or any other special requirements. Just tell us what you need and we'll put a package together for you.

Very friendly and helpful staff.
You can come for a one off day, a single day every week or as often as you like (provided places are available) it's up to you. The comment we hear most get is 'This is great! I wish we'd come earlier' with many of our day care clients being regulars whose visit is an eagerly anticipated highlight of their week.
Free Taster Day
